Awful Customer Service & Complaints Department Lending stream offered me unaffordable loans. I made a complaint to the Financial Ombudsman who upheld my complaint. As part of putting things right, the Financial Ombudsman told Lending Stream they must remove adverse information from my credit report. This ruling was made in early 2020. Fast forward to 2022, the adverse information is still on my credit report. I contacted the complaints department and was told this would be rectified and would take 30 - 45 days. Fast forward again another 50 days and this information is still on my credit report. When I contact customer services they are no use. They claim the complaints department does not have a telephone number and can only be contacted via email. They claim they cannot transfer my call to their supervisor/manager. I was told by one agent that a supervisor/manager would call me back, and surprise surprise I never received a call back. I asked yet another agent what professional/trade bodies this company is a part of and they told me they weren't a member of any. Their website says differently. The agent could not confirm nor deny whether they were a member. If I don't receive a satisfactory response from this company I will have no choice but to raise my complaint to the Financial Ombudsman again, and I will also raise complaints to the Information Commissioners Office and any trade bodies this company might be a part of.
