“While the service was straight forward and scarily easy a couple of clicks and the money was in my account to help see me through to payday. The return is £78 a month for £250 loan. Which when needs must its not the worst I've seen. What im NOT happy with and it reflects in the 2 star review is the amount of bogus mobile phone calls not landline calls im receiving on a daily basis all automated and ones even Chinese and I'm getting told my number will expire and so on. This absolutely disgusting and would like to know what lending stream is going to do about this as I may have to change my number now as clearly our information ISN'T protected so please beware of this before you apply! Tried to call about this but no luck getting through as expected!!”

What you're describing sounds like your number has been caught in a wider scam or fraud targeting. It's common for fraudsters to buy lists of active phone numbers or scrape them from leaked datasets—not necessarily from us, but from anywhere online. This is worth reporting to Action Fraud (actionfraud.police.uk or 0300 123 2040). They track patterns and can help protect you. Your provider may also be able to block these numbers. “I had 2 loans which I have always paid on time and early I received an email saying that because I was a VERY GOOD PAYING CUSTOMER so I applied but was declined. I then paid my 1 of my loans off and have not been allowed to apply again . So from going to be allowed to apply for a 3rd to k ow not being able to apply again wow absolutely disheartened with them now so will pay other loan off and not be back.”

“I've been a customer for good wile I've always paid on time never missed a payment day I did ask them to stop me applying for more loans then I thought thats silly I asked lending stream to info this as will be good for emergency they said no it can't be undone witch I think is silly be different if I had missed regular payments”

“Paid off old loan waited a month keep getting emails from them saying I can get a new loan so tryd to get a small loan surprisingly I can't get a new loan so please stop sending emails saying that I can apply 4 a loan”

“I was a customer who had over 30 loans. Took an affordability case against lending stream. Do not be surprised if after taking a number of loans you now get refused. This is just lending stream playing the game that they look closely before making decisions to lend. Didn’t do it in the past but now with loads of claims made have had to change policy on decision making.”
