“The customer service is a disgrace. Emails ignored. I am due a refund and have been quoted the 38 day turnaround however due to my financial situation I could urgently do with he money. I have stressed this over the phone but my pleas have been ignored. A shambles of a company. Avoid at all costs”

“The customer service is an absolute shambles. Multiple emails have been ignored. I’m due a redress on loans and they told me it would take 28 days. An abundance of reviews on trustpilot say they stall even long than that. I’ve rang multiple times asking for an email in writing from them to guarantee that it’ll be paid in 28 days and they avoid the answer as much as possible. Currently in financial difficulty so I made them aware that an early redress before the 28 days would help against the mess that they contributed to. They have no interest in your personal situation just to stall a refund as much as physically possible.”

“Scam had a loan before this one paid on time everytime then took another one out and as it come to the last few payments internal error and I couldn't pay an they kept putting interest up everything else worked on the website other than me being able to pay they told me to pay via banktransfer which I did an they said they never received it couldn't get an answer from about 6 people that I tried to talk to absolute joke an if this doesn't get resolved soon I will be getting fraud involved”

“Emailed Lending Stream a number of times over several days in respect of an open complaint case and they purposefully ignore emails, refusing to even acknowledge them, let alone reply. It appears very much as if they are being deliberately difficult and obstructive; it's either that or the customer service is awful to the point of being non-existent.”

“Avoid ...today they have taken 159.00 from my account. I paid the requested 113.36 and even rounded it up to 115.00 .this is for a loan of 350.00 and they are expecting me to pay 113.36 every month up until April 2020 that is a total of 666.80 and 316 o top of a 350 loan!. I have requested that they refund me the extra 44.00 that they have taken its the usual blah over the phone .A complaint has been logged and I expect the usual blah back from this too that's why I have spoken with the Ombudsman and it seems I have a case down to the fact that they have Just taken 159.00 without my knowledge so if I'm not happy with response I will just open a case. Obviously the 44,00 is important to me and was part of other bill money which I now cannot pay until LS refund it back.”

“Trying to complain about past loans but your online form as lots of people have complained doesn’t work you can’t even email anyone!!! Do not borrow from this company they are crooks! I have also gone through resolver who are having the same problem”

“Still no refund. I phoned every day in the last 10 days and been told many different lies... Managers never available. How they sleep at night knowing they keep ruining a lot of people's lives and even pushing them to commit suicide...???”

“Was feedback stating that my refund would have been issued to me by the 10th October, MMT were in contact with Lending stream to make sure this payment would be going through on time, Lending stream stated to MMT that it would be processed on time..this has not been the case, MMT contacted me yesterday to ask why this has not been processed but Lending stream has not replied with a reason why, so I contacted Lending stream several times today and everytime I have been given the same excuse " we have technical issues" and when I asked to speak to a manager I was given the excuse "they're not availble at the moment". I then got in contact with the financial obudsman service who then contacted Lending stream via phone, I was then told by the obudsman service that Lending stream would be processing my payment by today ( personally I think this was said to keep me quiet) or maximum by Monday, the Ombudsman also clarified this for me via e-mail. Lending stream are quick to offer fast payments into your account within 15 minutes (through an automated system), which I doubt even checks for the relevant data about any given person that is applying for the loan such as; is this person a drug addict? does this person have a betting addiction? Will this person ever borrow from us again? Lending stream does very little to try and get the person who is taking out loans every week/month to stop taking out loans...this is crippling people....no wonder debt related suicide rates have risen in this country because payday lenders do very little to help those who are affected by the loans that have been issued. Lending stream are very quick to ask for money back from people that have missed a payment and incur an extra charge on top if they fail to do so, they say they run affordability checks but I doubt they actually find out what the person actually uses the money for...in all honesty I doubt they even care aslong as they get more money back then what was actuallly owed.”

“Another day goes by and still no redress. Very frustrating as it looks like lending stream can get away with everything and the FOS and FCA do not seem to do anything about the situation. I think it is time to drop a line to my local MP...”
