“Was feedback stating that my refund would have been issued to me by the 10th October, MMT were in contact with Lending stream to make sure this payment would be going through on time, Lending stream stated to MMT that it would be processed on time..this has not been the case, MMT contacted me yesterday to ask why this has not been processed but Lending stream has not replied with a reason why, so I contacted Lending stream several times today and everytime I have been given the same excuse " we have technical issues" and when I asked to speak to a manager I was given the excuse "they're not availble at the moment". I then got in contact with the financial obudsman service who then contacted Lending stream via phone, I was then told by the obudsman service that Lending stream would be processing my payment by today ( personally I think this was said to keep me quiet) or maximum by Monday, the Ombudsman also clarified this for me via e-mail. Lending stream are quick to offer fast payments into your account within 15 minutes (through an automated system), which I doubt even checks for the relevant data about any given person that is applying for the loan such as; is this person a drug addict? does this person have a betting addiction? Will this person ever borrow from us again? Lending stream does very little to try and get the person who is taking out loans every week/month to stop taking out loans...this is crippling people....no wonder debt related suicide rates have risen in this country because payday lenders do very little to help those who are affected by the loans that have been issued. Lending stream are very quick to ask for money back from people that have missed a payment and incur an extra charge on top if they fail to do so, they say they run affordability checks but I doubt they actually find out what the person actually uses the money for...in all honesty I doubt they even care aslong as they get more money back then what was actuallly owed.”

“Another day goes by and still no redress. Very frustrating as it looks like lending stream can get away with everything and the FOS and FCA do not seem to do anything about the situation. I think it is time to drop a line to my local MP...”

“BAD EXPERIENCE IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT FOR THIS COMPANY. IF YOU HAVE PAYMENT OR REFUND ISSUES WITH THEM THEY USE UNHELPFUL,LYING,DELAY TATICS SO NOT TO PAY YOU. 10 DAYS OF YOUR MONEY WILL BE IN YOUR BANK IN 24/48 HOURS AND IM STILL WAITING.”

“If you are desperate for a loan PLEASE look somewhere else, AVOID this company!!! FOS ruled in my favour, still waiting for redress... They have even tried to blame Brexit for the delay in paying out... If you have a complaint ongoing against these loan sharks PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE send another complaint to the FCA pointing out the disgusting behaviour and tactics this company is trying to get away with... Hopefully it will help to tighten and enforce the regulations these companies should follow anyway...”

“All these 5* reviews must be from Lending Stream, 12 days in to having the FOS ruling accepted by LS and still no refund. I have sent a further email to FOS to find out if they're allowed to do this although they've confirmed receipt of the banking details and knowledge of the owed funds. Each day that goes past will lead to a further negative review as I find this disgusting.”

“Day 11 of not getting a refund that is owed to me, if you’re considering using lending stream I suggest you don’t. They take advantage of your desperate financial situation and then when they’re proved to have irresponsibly lent you money, will drag their feet for almost a year and then further drag their feet to pay out.”

“After a year with the FOS they awarded in my favour for 4 of my 7 loans, which they accepted the outcome last week, when I called with my bank details they told me it’ll take “up to” 28 days for my refund. If you take a loan out with them you will receive funds within the hour but claiming money that’s rightfully yours it takes a month? I’ve now been waiting 10 days, still no refund. I’ll continue to leave bad reviews until I’ve received my compensation.”

“I would advise anyone thinking of using this company to stay well clear. I made a complaint to them regarding irresponsible lending and they partly agreed with my complaint. I was made an offer on the 29th June 2018 and accepted the following day. Getting them to make the actual payment though has been a nightmare. It has taken the threat of court action to get them to get their finger out but the clowns still want a period of 28 days to make the payment. They won't be getting 28 days as the 14 days notice of court action has now past. This will result in court costs being added to the claim. A shambles of a company who are notoriously bad at handling complaints and notoriously slow at making refund payments. I think 13 months to make a refund payment (that's if they do) is taking the p**s”
