“Still no refund and now myjar have sent me thier refund in under 5 days. Absolutely no excuse for the delay. Lending stream if you can lend that fast you can refund that fast”

“Affordability complaint made by myself which was accepted by lending stream (112 loans in less than 3 years how could they not have seen I was in trouble) Recieved an offer of a refund which I accepted but have yet to even recieve confirmation. States 28 days for refund which is insane as they are quick enough to give you the loans instantly and take payment from you but take 4 weeks to refund what they owe!!!!”

“Affordability complaint approved by FOS… Ticket Number: 2019101710011269 Affordability complaint approved by FOS and Lending Stream (Gain Credit) but it seems that there is no urgency within Lending Stream / Gain Credit to provide the refund within a short period of time. Even after acceptance by the company that they had been irresponsible in their lending practices. Surely a more customer focus course of action would be to provide the refund as quickly as possible, instead of stretching this out to the maximum 28 days allowed. I phoned a manager within Lending Stream this morning to request my payment is expedited due to urgent personal issues and he said he will communicate back to me later in the day to confirm if this is possible, I am at day 22 so I don't consider I am asking too much from a company that has admitted they were irresponsible to provide me the refund. The payments are made via faster payments, so it's not as if I need to wait 3 days for the BACS to process. At the end of the day I will update this to confirm if the manager emailed me as he said he would or if i have been ignored again. If they do stretch this out to the full 28 days surely the FCA needs to look into why some PDL companies actively provide refunds as soon as possible and others inflict more misery on customers by delaying as long as possible even when the complaint process itself is a very long drawn out process. I hope to report that payment is made within the next couple of days and I will gladly amend my rating because they listened to my request and made payment.”

“I would definitely steer clear I lost my job rang them about they said they can sort it out after 4 mouths they sent me a default notice and said they arranged a payment plan they have never spoken to me about it or sent an letters or emails they doubled my loan amount and threatened me with the bailiffs if I didn't pay total rip off STAY WELL CLEAR”

“Refund process is very slow. Dragged on for months now and still no refund, lending stream are the most awkward company i have ever dealt with. Can't fault advisors when needed to speak to them but seems like they purposely drag out the refund process. Quite happy to take money off and pay out loans quick you but when they owe you money suddenly it takes months. Avoid!”

“Refund I cannot believe that a refund has taken this long. I was told two weeks ago my refund is with approvals unit and now on day 20 I have been told the same thing!! The member of staff would not tell me whether my refund is being actioned and the approvals department don’t take calls!!!”

“Good morning After paid my loans I ask them to close my account but they said they can't do that... Amazing... How it's possible? so if you open an account with lending stream you never gonna close it?? Good luck ! And if a non costumer is reading this, you know already what gonna happens if you wanted to close your account, now it's up to you ... Thanks for nothing ! Have a good day”

“I have had a compliant with FOS upheld after lending stream rejected it and now they are stating that it takes them 28days to settle the refund. They are quick to loan you money and transfer it within 1 hour when there is interest attached that cripples applicants but when they owe you money it’s a different story. Be very cautious lending from this company.”

“POOR is being nice!!! Woeful and pitiful. Only interested in shafting the customer. Lends irresponsibly. Takes no blame. Massive charges. Customer service, rude, obstructive and are liars. Did all they can to block any complaint. Then exonerated themselves. Went to financial ombudsman, who told them they had to pay redress. Yet, instead of resolving in a timely manner. Doing all they can to delay payment they owe.”
